I worked remotely with them in 1xBet Egypt as part of their call center team. The situation was acceptable when managed by Mr. Zohir and Ms. Marwa. However, after Mr. Zohir moved to MelBet and Ms. Marwa faced a lot of difficulties, she eventually retired from her position. Following this, a Jordanian manager named Hani Zaid Othman was appointed. Unfortunately, he lacked knowledge about the work and instead focused on making derogatory remarks about Egypt and Egyptians. Moreover, he exploited his position to flirt with women and ignored complaints of harassment by the team leader towards female employees. “I was the most dedicated employee, consistently working hard and standing up for the underdogs. All the scripts the team used were written by me. During my time there, I witnessed a team leader harassing female operators. I couldn’t just stand by, so I reported it. However, when the manager confirmed that the harassment had indeed occurred, instead of addressing the issue, he chose to overlook it and unjustly terminated me. To make matters worse, I never received my full payment.
