Ukrainian Charity Fund «Social partnership» registered as
unprofitable charity organization in October, 1998. Charity
activity of the Fund is directed on the help for people who
appeared in a difficult vital situation: homeless, invalids,
pensionaries, ex-criminals, refugees, alcoholic dependent people,
drug addicts and compulsive gamblers. All types of help in Fund are
carried out free of charge. Fund consists of two structural
subdivisions: 1. Christian Charity Center «Stephania» 2.
Rehabilitation Center «East» 1. Christian Charity Center
«Stephania» founded in December, 1998 on territory of joint-stock
company «Factory «Volcano» which is situated in: Ukraine, Kyiv,
Regeneratornaya, 4. Includes such work assignments: • charity
dining-room carries out 500-700 feedings per day in a summer period
and about 1 200 feedings in a winter period. • a medical center
renders a therapeutic and surgical help, disinfection chamber,
laundry. Daily 80-200 persons get a help depending on time of the
year. A collaboration with the state hospitals of Kyiv city is
adjusted. Every day about 10-20 persons are sent to the hospitals.
For all period of existence of the Fund «Social partnership» about
400 thousand persons were given a medical aid. • a center of the
account of homeless citizens is proceeding in documents, property
rights, and legal advices. • center of spiritual development and
social services: • house of prayer; • barbershop; • humanitarian
clothes; • souls, rest rooms; • free telephone; • sewing workshop;
• workshop of shoe; • artistic studio 2. Rehabilitation Center
«East» Center is founded in June, 2002. Program of rehabilitation
of alcoholic dependent people, drug addicts and compulsive gamblers
expected on 6 month of staying in Center, located in Irpen’ town.
For period of existence of the Center the course of rehabilitation
was completed by 455 persons, from them about 48% got rid of
dependence and returned to the normal life.
